We are proud to continue building on our 40+ year foundation of exceptional electrical contracting work.Below are some examples of our most outstanding projects.
Add second electron-beam hearth furnace and vacuum-arc remelting capability to support OEM-specified two-melt titanium production. Construct Building G (40,000+ sq. ft.), a single-story production facility with electrical/mechanical support rooms for each melt process, a control room, and second-floor manager offices. Engineer and place multiple equipment foundations, two deep melt-process pits...
Recycling and environmental considerations were a top priority for the customer throughout this project, ensuring sustainable practices were employed in all aspects of construction and operation.
Garrett Electric provided electrical services for JR Simplot Co.’s expansive new campus in Moses Lake, Washington, which includes a 600,000-square-foot potato processing facility, an 83,000-square-foot high-bay freezer rising 130 feet, and a wastewater treatment facility. The project required 40MW of electrical capacity, with power distributed underground to 20 large service transformers across the site.
In the Seattle metro area, Garrett Electric helped transform an existing warehouse into a 51,000-square-foot advanced data center lab for testing and developing emerging technologies. The project included demolition of the existing floor, new foundations and steel support, two 4,000A 480V electrical services, overhead busway distribution, and major mechanical and control systems to manage intense server heat loads.
In 2016, Garrett Electric completed electrical services for the addition of four floors to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. The expansion added a total of 90,000 ft2 and includes 54 acute care, 20 universal, and 20 intensive care units as well as a garden terrace off the seventh floor. When complete,...
In 2017, Garrett Electric completed electrical services for a state-of-the-art rural health clinic that provides a wide range of services, including primary care, dental, vision, hearing, and mental health programs. Highlights of the project include a state-of-the-art IT network, updated fiber system, plexiglass server room, and sensor-activated automated tinting windows
Garrett Electric performed electrical construction for a new 40,840-square-foot, three-story City Hall building that now houses the Council Chambers. This progressive design build project included theatrical lighting, a complete audio/visual package, lighting controls compliant with the Washington State Energy Code, emergency power, low voltage work subcontractor coordination, fire alarm, telephone...
Garrett Electric executed the electrical construction for a new three-story, 81-unit, 32,115-square-foot, student housing facility for Washington State University Tri-Cities in Richland. This project utilized an Acuity nLight lighting control system for all LED fixtures for maximum efficiency. All feeders were run underground and staked out using a robotic total...
Garrett Electric performed the electrical construction of a new civic center that will house the City Council Chambers including offices for all city departments as well as the Union Gap Police Department
Garrett Electric is in the process of replacing ten turbines with newer, more efficient turbines. The new turbines will generate 3.5% more power utilizing the same quantity of water, and they are expected to have an improved environmental impact on survival rates of salmon and steelhead
Garrett Electric completed the replacement of a unit 2 generator turbine. This replacement consisted of pre-disassembly resistance testing, documentation of as-found conditions of electrical apparatuses, existing auxiliary electrical equipment disconnection and removal, and disassembly. The new turbine will improve the rate of fish survival and increase power generation by 3–4%....
Garrett Electric is currently performing electrical services for a building that will be home to Big Bend Community College’s technical education programs. These programs include automotive, welding, fabrication, maintenance mechanics, computer science, and STEM
Garrett Electric completed a 208Y/120-V 3P 4W electrical installation for a new, two-story, 17,235-square-foot facility for women and children in need, including fire alarm, telephone and data, video surveillance, security, and access control systems
Garrett Electric was contracted to expand a cold storage freezer facility that currently handles more than two billion pounds of food each year. This expansion will result in an addition of 15.8 million cubic feet of storage as well as space for 45,000 additional pallets. Equipped with a fully automated...
Early this year, Garrett Electric began the expansion of a hamburger line facility for Tyson Fresh Meats, augmenting the basic design with functional custom solutions.
